- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★They have a tough job. They have to deal with the worst of society. They run a tight ship at the jail. The facilities at the jail are terrible but that is not the fault of the sheriff's department who like the city of Madison are world class law enforcement organizations. Unlike Barney Fife Organizations like the Town of Madison the Sheriff's department needs to be respected and is the only organization that is mentioned constitutionally to enforce the law in each county.By Ryan Corcoran, January 04, 2017
