  I don't know what happened to the other two reviewers, but I have had a checking account there for over 10 years and they have always been very helpful and friendly to me. I think they deserve a better rating. If you want a stable bank with an accessible time machine near a shopping area on the west side of Madison, then you can't go too wrong with associated. Their overdraft rate is $35 but it can be automatically covered with a savings account. They offer cds and do not require any set amount to start one(i.e. You can make a $100.00 CD if you want and add to it whenever you want). There are definitely places(mostly credit unions) out there with a much higher CD interest rate, but they usually have a higher minimum start price too. They also have decent online banking. I was surprised to see the two bad reviews, and I'm not saying that their lying or anything, but my experiences with this bank and location have been pretty good.

  unlike the other 2 reviews will actually review the business and not things that have absolutely nothing to do with the day to day operations. Staff is kind and professional its really your run of the mill bank located right by west towne mall NOT HARD TO FIND AT ALL. Has it written right on the building cant miss it. For all of us who can read. I chose this Bank because of there convenient locations throughout the Madison area and Wisconsin. I would defiantly recommend them to my friends. not because of the hopes of getting a free toaster but because they are reliable.

  Called the bank to find out where they are located. Was told by West Towne Mall. I asked which side--north, south, east or west. Was told that they didn't have a mall map so they couldn't tell me. Duh--this has nothing to do with the mall, but real world directions since they are not located in the mall. When I questioned why they could not give me directions, I was told to Google it. Then they got snippy. Would I trust my money to folks who cannot give you simple directions? Not.
